| HRCH Meglyn's Honest Abe MH |
At 11 years of age (as of March 13, 2010) Abe is the old man of the Meglyn crew. He's
been there, done that, having earned both his HRC Hunting Retriever Champion and AKC Master Hunter title. Abe ran the
Dyersburg, Tennessee Super Retriever Series in May 2007, but at his age, he is entering a much deserved retirement.
He came out of retirement briefly to run the Port Clinton, Ohio Super Retriever Series in July 2008. But for the
gray, not seen in this younger photo, you'd never guess his age the way he bounces around knowing that he is going to
get to work. Although I hunt all of my dogs, Abe is my steadfast hunting buddy.
